Services for Young People

We provide programmes for young people affected by domestic abuse and believe in educating and offering our support to prevent the cycle of domestic violence perpetuating in their own families and relationships.

Mentoring

Adolescent Girls Mentoring - 12 week courses of one-to-one mentoring for adolescent girls age 11 to 16. Click here for details.

Adolescent Boys Mentoring - 12 weeks of one-to-one mentoring for young men aged 11 to 24. Click here for details.

Liberty Mentoring and Domestic Abuse Support - We offer a range of services to young women aged 16-24 as part of Project Liberty including one-to-one mentoring and support from a young person’s IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advocate). Click here for details.

Counselling

Children and Young People Counselling- our children and adolescent counselling service delivered by a qualified counsellor, available for young people aged 5 -18. Click here for details.

Groups

Guiding Lights – 10 session programme run in schools for groups of adolescent girls aged 11 to 16 who are susceptible to CSE and entering coercive relationships, focusing on healthy relationships and building self-esteem. Click here for details.

Adolescent Boys Groups – 6-8 session programme run in schools for groups of adolescent boys. Click here for details.

Project Liberty  – a 10 week psycho-educational group for young women aged 16 to 24. Click here for details.

Project Liberty Accommodation - Supported housing for homeless young women with experience of domestic abuse and who may be pregnant or have a young baby. Click here for details.

Summer Activities

A range of activities running for children and young people aged 5 to 17, who have lived with domestic abuse, have been impacted by the pandemic and who live in either Folkestone and Hythe, Canterbury or Ashford districts.
