One Stop Shops

Domestic Abuse One Stop Shops offer free advice, information and support from a range of agencies all under one roof in order to help victims of domestic abuse. Domestic abuse can affect anyone, so if you are a man or a woman and would like to discuss your issues, you are welcome to attend – no appointment is required.

Rising Sun provides in person domestic abuse support at the following One Stop Shops:

Canterbury One Stop every Thursday 09:30 – 12:30. At Riverside Children’s Centre, Kingsmead, Canterbury CT2 7PH. No appointment needed.

Herne Bay One Stop the last Tuesday of the month 09:30 – 12:30. At Herne Bay Family Hub (previously known as Poppy’s Children Centre), Herne Bay, CT6 5RG. No appointment needed.

Folkestone One Stop every Thursday 12.30pm – 2.30pm. At Folkestone Early Years Children’s Centre, Dover Road, Folkstone, CT20 1QF. No appointment needed.

Ashford One Stop every Tuesday 9.30am – 12.00pm. The Willow Centre, 24 Brookfield Rd, Ashford TN23 4EY. No appointment needed.

The agencies represented at our One Stop Shops include the City Council; Specialist Domestic Violence Services; the Police; Health, Housing, Drug, and Alcohol Support; Legal Advisors, and various other support organisations.
